Horizontal Boring Machines

There are various types of Horizontal Boring Machines offered by us that have a work spindle parallel to the ground and work table. The tool head and part move typically along three linear axes. These machines are useful for installations where trenchless technology is applied. The trenchless process used with these machines is micro-tunneling which is often used to install pipelines beneath highways, runways, rivers and railways. Horizontal Boring Machines operate similar to tunnel boring machines but on a much smaller scale. These boring machines are pushed beneath the earth by hydraulic jacks mounted on a jacking shaft.
